The Challenge
Differentiate a B2B AI infrastructure company in an increasingly crowded market where every competitor uses the same dark-mode aesthetic. The brand needed to signal technical depth while remaining accessible to non-technical decision-makers.
Our Approach
We rejected the default playbook of AI branding — no neural networks, no abstract blobs, no gratuitous gradients. Instead, we built a design system rooted in architectural precision. The geometric mark system uses a 12-unit grid that mirrors Axiom's own modular architecture. Typography pairs a bold grotesque with a technical mono, creating clear hierarchy between marketing and documentation contexts.
The Result
The rebrand positioned Axiom as a category leader. Within six months of launch, brand-attributed inbound leads increased 280%. The identity system was praised by the design community and featured in Brand New and It's Nice That.

About the Project
Axiom builds the orchestration layer for enterprise AI deployments — the connective tissue between models, data, and production systems. Their technology is deeply sophisticated, but their existing brand looked like every other dev-tools company: dark mode, monospace type, generic gradients. We created an identity that matches the ambition of their technology: bold, precise, and unmistakably premium. The geometric mark system — built on a modular grid of interlocking forms — becomes a visual metaphor for Axiom's role as an orchestration platform. A restrained palette of obsidian, chrome, and electric violet gives the brand a commanding presence that cuts through the noise of the AI landscape.
