The Challenge
Create a brand identity for a payments startup that communicates institutional-grade security without feeling cold or corporate. The brand needed to work across digital products, investor decks, and developer documentation.
Our Approach
We began with an extensive audit of the fintech landscape, mapping the visual territory from neobanks to enterprise payment processors. We identified a whitespace: brands that feel both precise and warm. Our design system pairs geometric rigor with a curated palette of deep navy and warm coral, grounded by clean sans-serif typography.
The Result
The Vero brand launched to overwhelming positive reception. The identity system scaled seamlessly from app interfaces to billboard campaigns. Vero's Series A deck, designed within our brand system, helped close an $18M round in under three weeks.

About the Project
Vero came to us as a stealth-mode payments startup preparing for their Series A launch. They needed a brand that could stand toe-to-toe with Stripe and Square while communicating something those brands don't — warmth and human trust. We developed a brand system rooted in geometric precision and a color palette that bridges institutional credibility with approachable modernity. The wordmark uses custom-drawn letterforms with subtle optical corrections, creating a mark that feels both engineered and inviting. The result: a brand that helped Vero close their $18M round and launch with a waitlist of 12,000.
