The Challenge
Build a premium brand for a clinical skincare line that appeals to design-conscious consumers without alienating the science-driven audience. The brand needed to feel luxurious yet substantive, beautiful yet credible.
Our Approach
We immersed ourselves in the intersection of luxury fragrance branding and clinical skincare. The resulting identity draws from both worlds: warm metallics and botanical illustrations signal luxury, while clean typographic hierarchy and generous whitespace communicate scientific rigor. Packaging was designed as a ritual object.
The Result
Solara launched to a sold-out first run within 72 hours. The brand was featured in Vogue, Architectural Digest, and Monocle within its first quarter. Social media engagement exceeded projections by 340%, driven largely by organic unboxing content.

About the Project
Solara is a direct-to-consumer skincare line built on bioactive botanicals and clinical-grade formulations. The founders — a dermatologist and a perfumer — wanted a brand that honored both the science and the sensuality of their products. We crafted an identity steeped in warmth and quiet luxury: a custom serif wordmark with Art Nouveau-inspired curves, a palette of sun-warmed neutrals and deep botanical greens, and packaging that feels like an object you'd display, not hide. Every touchpoint whispers quality. From glass vessels to tissue-wrapped parcels, the Solara unboxing experience became a viral moment in itself.
